Computer body mapping for the fashion industry
Computer measurement of a woman's body shape as part of a university project at Nottingham Trent University, (UK) to develop a body mapping system for the retail fashion industry. The object of the system would be to enable clothes to be tailored to the individual rather than using standard sizes, with economies over the normal bespoke methods made by using computerised manufacturing techniques.
