The Enigma Bombe
The bombe component of the WWll British decryption facility which deciphered German military messages at Bletchley Park, England. The function of the bombe was to work out the daily rotor settings which should be applied by cryptanalysts using the captured Enigma encoding machines. Each of the rotating drums mimics the action of a rotor on an Enigma machine.
