Prof. Paul Monks - Leicester Diagnostics Project
EDITORIAL USE ONLY: Paul Monks, Professor of Physical Chemistry at Leicester University, UK. Prof Monks is Equipment Co-ordinator of the Diagnostics Development Unit, an interdisciplinary unit working on a clinical studies to integrate a number of advanced diagnostic methods including mass spectrometry, thermal imaging and ultrasound blood flow measurement. Using expertise from chemical and space research scientists to complement medical practice it is hoped that a rapid, portable and non-invasive diagnostic instrument will be developed to detect disease.
