White tea

Leaves and buds of the plant Camilla Sinensis, picked when young then sun-dried and crushed to be sold as Chinese White Tea. The name derives from the fine white hairs of the plant's unopened buds which gives it a pale appearance and the infusion its distinctive quality. The image covers an area of 30mm x 20mm.
