HAP1 DNA repairer
Computer graphic of a HAP1 enzyme in the process of repairing a molecule of DNA, a process that takes place many thousands of times daily. Cell repair of this type helps the body keep free of cancers. In the graphic the DNA molecule is a 'stick' representation and the HAP1 molecule's structural detail is comprised of beta-sheets (magenta) and alphas-helices (blue).
